Luis Cruz Azaceta's Dead Rafter II is part of LA's Unbroken Ties exhibition, which focuses on the survival and perpetuity of Cuban values and the Cuban character beyond the island. The exhibition features contemporary paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, and video presentations created by 38 Cuban artists; 12 artists live on the Island of Cuba and 26 live in exile in various countries. The exhibition draws from the permanent Cuban art collection at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale.
Unbroken Ties is currently on view at the Museum of Latin American Art in Los Angeles until Sun 3.18.
