Christopher David Ryan lives in a world where the past and future meet the present with equal enthusiasm. The past brings an almost innate knowledge of its own nostalgia; the future comes to the table with the hopes of all it can achieve; the present fuses them together in that mercurial "moment." It is this moment that Ryan strives to capture in his work.

From a live/work space in Brooklyn, Ryan's one-man studio, Atmostheory, produces a variety of work for various clients. It is, however, the self-initiated, client-less, personal projects that bring him the most satisfaction. Trained as a fine artist, Ryan sees these works as the ideal way to meld his love of art with his self-taught graphic design discipline.
